Sonam Kapoor who has always kept quiet over her love affair recently opened up on her relationship, and her belief in marriage.

The actress shared one of her fondest memories with husband Anand Ahuja before they got married.

 She narrated the incident of her birthday, when Anand flew down to Mumbai, booked a hotel for her, planned a vegetarian menu, played her favourite songs, and above all, gifted her a hand-written card.

She also revealed that the two of them began dating, from the time of “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”.

On being asked about her views on getting married, the actress explained that she wanted to get married only after she met Anand. Before that, she didn’t believe in the institution of marriage.

Sonam also shared about her life post marriage. The actress said that there’s a sense of support because you know there’s someone who loves you unconditionally. And you have to settle down with your best friend.

The actress also admitted her excitement for birthdays, and also added a tongue in cheek statement that she expects all her friends to visit her with lots of gifts.
