Haryana BJP leader Barla's son tampered with the girl and raped her in a balloon with a knife in the Ballia of UP, Congress attacked the Modi government and said that even after independence in the country, some sections of society are living in an environment of fear and violence. 

On Wednesday, 75 years of freedom of the country's freedom and the Quit India Movement, Congress President Sonia Gandhi addressed the CWC meeting, paying homage to those who were martyred for the country's independence. 

The Congress President said that in the country where our ancestors sacrificed their lives for the freedom struggle, today there is an atmosphere of fear and violence. Where the minorities, Dalits, tribals, and women are constantly living in an environment of fear and violence. 

It is noteworthy that Congress president reached the Congress headquarters to participate in the CWC between the rain.

Sonia Gandhi said that Congress has always been ahead to protect the freedom of the country, society and people and its associated values and will continue its fight even further. She said that Congress would never bow down to the forces that hurt individual and institution's freedom.
