‘Soorma’ is taking a long to be Soorma of the Box office but its slow and steady growth should be acclaimed. After completing its first weekend with Rs 13.85 crore the biopic on Monday added up Rs 2 crore and reached to Rs 15.85 crore. The trade analyst Taran Adarsh informed the Box office collection while stating that with the same pace on weekdays, it can complete a long and qualitative run on silver screen. The tweet reads: “#Soorma is holding well... Should maintain the same pace on remaining weekdays for a respectable total... Fri 3.20 cr, Sat 5.05 cr, Sun 5.60 cr, Mon 2 cr. Total: 竄ｹ 15.85 cr. India biz.”

The Shaad Ali directorial Sandeep Singh’s biopic who leads Indian hockey team in many victorious games instead of his injuries that he got from an accidental gunshot which left him paralyzed waist-down. The movie stars Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi who are regularly getting applauded by critics and fans too.

The main competition to the movie is Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju which is still in limelight even after completing 18 days on box office. The other competition is Marvel Studio’s The Antman and Wasp’ starring  Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/ Wasp.
