A speeding car rammed the scooter in the Puthur near Kollam and in the incident, One girl died and two others got seriously injured.
The deceased have been identified as Malavika (12). The girl's sister Mayika (8) and nephew Manju (35). The victims are natives of Vendar in Puthur.
The police as per the sources news said those in the over-speeding car were in an inebriated state and that liquor bottles were recovered from the vehicle.
