The world is anguished on the sudden and huge loss of legendary actress Padama Shri awardee Sridevi who left for her heavenly abode in the most surprising way. However, despite the fact that the dust is slowing settling down over the gashes of her fans, family ,friends, close relatives,  an ex-police officer has alleged that her death by drowning in a bathtub could be a murder.

According to the reports of Times Of India, an ex-cop named Ved Bhushan has claimed that he wasn’t allowed to have a look at Sridevi’s hotel room but performed her death scene in the adjacent room and the accidental drowning didn’t make sense to him in those positions. Ved Bhushan also apparently claimed that it’s very easy to put someone in bathtub powerfully until the victim stops breathing without leaving any proof of the crime.

On a related note Supreme Court had in recent times discarded a plea by filmmaker Sunil Singh who was requesting an investigation into the mystifying death of Bollywood ‘Chandani’ Sridevi.

After claiming the National Award for her film ‘Mom’, the actress was posthumously honored at the Cannes Film Festival 2018 lately.
