The Steve Smith led Australian side yesterday again lost in front of the Indian team at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata in the second ODI of the ongoing five-match series. Aussies were defeated by Men in Blue by 50 runs. The Australian captain Steve Smith post the match accepted that his team is doing silly errors which they cannot make in front of the team like India.

Yesterday clash was the Smith 100th ODI match which he wanted to celebrate by scoring runs and see Australia win. Though, he scored well but couldn't see his side winning.

In a press conference post, the match Smith said "I think we are not watching the balls closely enough and backing the skills. The guys have trained and trained really well. It's now about getting in the middle and executing the skills when you are under pressure and not panicking as such,"

He added "I think we panicked in the last game a little bit and in this game, we just could not get the partnerships. We are just making silly errors when we are under pressure, which we cannot afford to make a quality lineup like India,".

"It's happening a bit too often for my liking, to be honest with you, in all forms of cricket,"  the Australian skipper said.

The 28-year-old said "We've had a lot of collapses and we need to stop. It's easy to just sit here and say 'it needs to stop', but when you get out in the middle you have to change what you're doing because it's not working.
