Last year, Karan Johar announced that there will be a Student of the Year 2 and Tiger Shroff will be played as the main role in the movie. Wherelse, SOTY made stars out of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra and SOTY 2 will also be introducing two female leads into the world of Bollywood. 

 After the Tiger Shroff and Tara's first look here Karan Johar presents the dazzling look of Ananya Panday. In the poster, the pretty Ananya donned a collared red and white crop top teamed up with black jeggings. Center-parted open hair with loose curls, filled in brows, nude undertone makeup and white and blue checkered backpack rounded off her look.Tiger tweeted, "Hey ANANYA welcome to the brat pack at SaintTeresa's, let's get started already! #SOTY2 @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @punitdmalhotra @DharmaMovies @foxstarhindi @SOTYOfficial."
 
Earlier talking about the film, a source close to the film’s development revealed some details from the much-awaited film’s shoot schedule. "Tiger along with Ananya and Tara will head to Dehradun for the shoot. It’s a two-month schedule that will be shot in the exotic locales of Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Rishikesh. 

Karan also tweeted Ananya's poster and said, "And finally! Presenting ANANYA - joining the class of 2018 at Saint Teresa! Welcome to the movies! #SOTY2 @iTIGERSHROFF @apoorvamehta18 @punitdmalhotra @DharmaMovies @foxstarhindi @SOTYOfficial"
 
Directed by Punit Malhotra, Student of the Year 2 is slated to release on November 23, 2018.
