New Delhi, July 9: Supreme Court today in its verdict refused to give consent to offering of Namaz at iconic Taj Mahal. The Top Court said that the historic Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, so it should be kept in mind that no Namaz will be offered there. There are other places where one can do the same.

Supreme Court of India today dismissesed plea challenging Agra authority's order debarring outsiders from offering prayers on Fridays at mosque in TajMahal complex.

Earlier the Right wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh-Akhil Bhartiya Itihaas Sankalan Samiti (ABISS) has demanded that Friday prayers at Taj Mahal should be prohibited.

As we all know that Taj Mahal, with all its attractiveness, magnificence, historical importance and cultural importance, has mystified the Hindu right-wing, throwing it into complete hysteria over how to adjust to the existence of this wonderful piece of architecture established by a Mughal emperor.

A day after Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath  when visited the Taj Mahal termed the 17th Century marble mausoleum as gem of India and put end to the row triggered by his party colleagues over the monument.
