Indian External Affairs Minister ( EAM) Sushma Swaraj on Monday met with the United States President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump in New York. There they both discussed the issue of women empowerment.

In the conversation with Sushma Swaraj and Ivanka, the topic related to Ivanka's forthcoming visit to India in this November also discussed and moreover Ivanka also will lead the U.S. delegation to India for the global entrepreneurship summit 0f 2017. The (GES 2017) which will go to hold this year in November is to support women's entrepreneurship globally.

India's PM Narendra Modi has also invited Ivanka to visit the country during his visit to Washington with president Trump in the month of June at the white house. PM Modi also confirmed the impending visit of Ivanka on his Twitter account last month that, "he was looking forward to her trip to India."Look forward to Ms. Ivanka Trump's presence at #GES 2017 Hyderabad as the leader of the US delegation".

The U.S. and India will co-host the three-day summit in Hyderabad that aims to present entrepreneurs a platform to meet startups and global leaders from across the world.
