Bengaluru: A woman alleged that food delivery company Swiggy's delivery boy abused her asked her for sexual favours as well. On compalining about this to company, the A 'sorry' note and a Rs 200 was sent to the woman Following the apology, the woman decided to take action against the accused.
The woman shared her ordeal on Facebook. The alleged incident took place on Thursday. In reply to her complaint, the customer care of the company sent her a 'sorry' note and a Rs 200 coupon.
As per the report of Times of India, the woman said that when the delivery boy arrived at her residence, he was saying something. The victim was unable to understand what the delivery boy was saying. On asking him to repeat, the victim realised that the accused was allegedly abusing her and asking her to have sex. Aghast by the treatment meted out to her, the woman snatched the food from the accused and shut the door on his face. the woman contacted the customer care and complained to them about the alleged incident. In return, she was given a coupon and a 'sorry' note.
Contrary to the indifferent behaviour of their customer care, the company authorities apologised for the incident on Facebook. The authorities also asked the victim to give the details to facilitate further action.
