Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Kisan Kalyan rally in Medinipur, unfortunately, halted in between due to the collapse of a tent portion in the rally that reportedly left around 20 people injured. All India Trinamool Congress (TMC), the ruling party in West Bengal on this Monday’s incident expressed their concern over the matter and said that rally’s organizers should take the responsibility of the matter. “We are deeply concerned about those who were injured at the rally. We pray for their early recovery. All assistance and help will be provided to the injured. The organizers of this rally must take responsibility for this lapse,” ANI quoted a press statement by TMC.

Notably, PM Modi was addressing a huge gathering in Medinipur of WB on Monday where suddenly a part of the tent fall down over the gathering and they get injured in the incident. Reportedly, PM Modi when saw the incident from stage instructed the back standing Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel to help the instantly help the injured people. Even doctors and SPG personnel who were appointed to serve the PM ran to the place and helped the individuals.

“Straight after the rally in Paschim Medinipur, PM Narendra Modi went to the local hospital and enquired about the condition of those who have been injured,” informed PMO’s official Twitter handle. Modi therein meets the wounded people and inquired about their condition.

Centre's recent decision to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Kharif crops was the highlighted point of the announcement that was made in the half addressal. Modi also criticized TMC while referring undeveloped part of the state.
