Taking about cleansing, toning, moisturising and regular usage of sunscreen is necessary for the preservation of good skin, there are many other things that might be harming your skin. In fact, your everyday lifestyle choices may be undoing all your efforts for good skin and letting that dry skin or acne breakout.

Regarding the nature of work, giving too much time on the cell phone can be dangerous . But, being attached to your cell phone for too long can affect a skin condition known as 'mobile phone dermatitis' or 'allergic contact dermatitis'. While it is the nickel used in cell phones that is to blame, but the electromagnetic radiations can also trigger allergic reactions.

Speaking about the allergies caused by the cell phone, cosmetic physician Dr Manjiri Puranik replied, "Moreover, using a mobile phone close to the skin can cause swelling, redness, itching or blistering near the cheekbones, ears, jaw or hands due to germs on the screen."

Despite, it is just not acne breakouts that you have to worry about, looking at the screen continually also leads to crow's feet around the eyes and wrinkles around the area underneath the chin and around the neck. To avoid these type of the allergies, Dr Puranik advises using hands-free devices like headsets or putting your phone on speaker mode to avoid direct contact with the skin. Also, as a habit use anti-bacterial wipes at least once a day to wipe the screen.
