"Tamilians have been massacred as they refused to accept RSS ideologies"

In a bid of the anti-Sterlite protests which held on Tuesday in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi asserted in his claim that the protestors were killed for disallowing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) ideologies.

Rahul Gandhi taking to twitor  and cornered PM Modi and RSS as saying, "Tamilians have been massacred because they refused to accept Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS's) ideologies. The RSS and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been opposed by Tamil Nadu. Also, people of Tamil Nadu cannot be suppressed," he tweeted in Tamil.

The Congress scion also extended support to the people of Tamil Nadu.

"Dear Tamil brothers and sisters, we are with you," he said.

Security has been beefed up in Thoothukudi and Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) (prohibits assembly of more than 4 people in an area) has been imposed in the city after clashes turned aggressive on Tuesday, claiming at least 11 persons  live while over 65 injured.

Till the time 42 people have been admitted to the hospital and few have been transferred to the Tirunelveli medical college to trim down overcrowding.

"42 people have been admitted to our hospital till now, few transferred to Tirunelveli medical college to reduce congestion. 10 bodies are in the mortuary here. 17 surgeries have been done," informed Tamil Nadu Director of Medical Education, Dr A Edwin Joe as quoted by ANI.
