After the long gap of two years , Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress Tanushree Dutta is back in India and also revealed that she will be back in her acting career soon. Also, the actress unveiled about being harassed on the sets of her film Horn Ok Please. There are many actors in Hollywood, who openly comes in front about being sexually harassed. The beautiful actress also said that the same persons are today speaking about women empowerment who maintained silence when she spoke about harassment. She said that many people are wondering when Bollywood actors will speak out openly on harassment issues.

Tanushree Dutta said, “The thing is that our country has become so hypocritical, and people constantly ask why #MeToo movement is not happening in India, it won’t happen unless and until you’ll acknowledge what happened with me in 2008”.

“The #MeToo happened in Hollywood a year or two back, but in India it happened several years ago. I was probably one of the first people in the history of this country in the media field to speak up and stand up. Everybody saw what happened but the memory and the popular perception of it is that Tanushree Dutta spoke up against harassment and then she was no more”, she further added.
