Actress Tanushree Dutta has sparked the #MeToo movement is India which is gaining momentum with every passing day. Everyday many stories are getting viral on the internet and exposing the culprits. Many Bollywood celebrities came in support of the victims and refusing to work with the accused one. Post accusation, Sajid Khan stepped down as the director of Housefull 4 and Nana Patekar who got accused by Tanushree Dutta also announced his exit from the film. Recently, Akshay Kumar stalled the shooting of Housefull 4 when its director Sajid was accused of sexual misconduct.

In an interview to DNA, actress Tanushree Dutta is happy after seeing the change in the Bollywood. Expressing her happiness she said that I am glad that somebody like Akshay finally decided to put his foot down and has chosen to not work with people such as these. I am also happy that Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and a couple of other production houses are taking a stand, but I would not want this to be a one-time. She further added that Right now, the situation is hot, so let’s disassociate and at a later date collaborate again. So, I am just seeing where this is going before I can raise a toast.

Earlier, the #MeToo movement startedin India when Tanushree accused actor Nana patekar for sexually harassing her on the set of film ‘Horn Ok Please’ in 2008.
