Tata touches subcompact SUV Naxon's 10,000 unit figure

Tata Motors has announced that they have sent their completely new sub-4 meter SUV to Tata Naxon's 10,000th unit to the showrooms. The company has touched this milestone with this subcompact SUV. Tata Naxon's 10,000th unit company out of Ranjangaon plant near Pune in Maharashtra.

Tata has launched this SUV in India on September 21, 2017 and in order to counter it in the country, there are already cars like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra TUV 300 and Honda's WRV. At present Tata Nexon is the only subcompact SUV in India which is the cheapest and the first ex-showroom price of this car in Delhi is 5.85 lakh, which goes up to Rs 9.44 lakh.

The car has also been improved considerably in case of look and style. It has a large central console with aerodynamic silhouette, 3-tone interior, LED day time running lights. While giving information on the launch of Tata Motors' Passenger Vehicle Business, Mayank Parek said, "Tiago, Hexa and Tigor are still pushing Tata's cell forward. All of these cars have been built on the Impact Design Language and similar platforms which the Naxon has made. SUV segment has left Sedan behind and has become the second choice of customers.

" Tata Motors has given a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder, Revetron turbocharged petrol engine in its first sub-4 meter subcompact SUV Naxon, which generates 108 bhp power and 170 nm torque. In diesel variants the company has installed a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine which generates 108 bhp power and 260 Nm torque. Along with this, 6-speed manual transmission has been given in Tata Naxon. Tata has also given some unique features in this car, in which variant keys are given, this key can be worn. Apart from this, 34 unique utility spaces, reverse parking sensors and engine start stop button are given in the car.
