Artificial Intelligence (AI) is slowly entering into different parts of our life. IT company IBM's cognitive system Watson and fashion designer Gaurav Gupta have teamed up with the world's first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enspiraid Sari. This sari has recently been introduced in Vogue Women of the Year (WOTY) Awards, 2017. This sari powered by IBM IoT has LED Lights. The LED lights in this sari vary color according to the person's personality. When this sari was introduced during the WOTY Awards, it changed color according to Winner's personality.

Designer Gaurav Gupta has used a custom built IBM application in this sari. This is the first time when IBM Watson has done such a thing in fashion. Previously, this platform came to headlines when Carolina Topkova's Top Rated Mate Gala Dress was drawn. IBM Watson has used its Personality Insight API and Smart IoT integration to create a LED embedded sari. Gaurav Gupta says, "When IBM contacted me with this very exciting alliance, I thought that this project is perfect for me."

Using a custom-built IBM application infused with Watson technology, the designer was able to feed in his inspiration. The tool helped with dominant human-created patterns from its database as well as machine-generated patterns that Watson’s AI engine created. The result? A never-before-seen sari-gown hybrid replete with LED lights to be worn by the event’s MC and Emmy Award-winning actress Archie Panjabi.
