HYDERABAD: Results of the ‘Telangana law common entrance test’ were declared by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, on June 14, Thursday. A total of 89.22 per cent candidates qualified for the ‘Telangana law common entrance test’ which is a three-year programme.

The examination is conducted by the Osmania University of Hyderabad.

A press release was issued on Thursday, according to which an out of the 12,960 candidates who appeared for the exam, a total of 11,563 qualified the examination. According to reports, the pass percentage of LAWCET which is a5 year programme has reduced to 64.42, with only 2401 of the 3727 candidates being able to qualify the exam.

A total of 98.33 per cent candidates were able to qualify in the post-graduate law common entrance test. Out of the total 1860 candidates who appeared for the test, 1829 candidates could clear it.

This was the very first time that the LAWCET and PGLET entrance examinations were conducted online. Also, this was the first time in Telangana that Urdu was also included amongst the languages, in which the test paper is printed. Earlier, the examination was conducted only in English and Telugu.
