Shyamala, the famous TV anchor, has on Monday joined the YSRCP.  Jaganmohan Reddy himself welcomed her and her husband, Narasimha Reddy. Along with her husband, she has met the party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad.  The Party Chief has welcomed them into the party by draping party towels around their necks.

Speaking to the media, the small screen starlet said that she has always been inspired by Jagan's work. "I have always admired Jagan anna. I and my husband wanted to be a part of his endeavors. I support the schemes that he wants to implement," she said. Shyamala predicted that YS Jagan is the next Chief Minister of the state, as the people are expecting a change this time. Recently she has become more popular with the Bigg Boss season 3 in Telugu. Her husband too has spoken the same. Both said they will campaign for the party. Narasimha Reddy said that the people of Andhra Pradesh are eagerly waiting for Jagan to lead them.  On the other side, Tollywood couple Rajasekhar, Jeevitha and actor Hema has also joined YSRCP.
