UP Government will subject a covering and protection plan for the Taj Mahal in the Supreme Court on Friday after the Higher court asks a report on the same.Hearing a plea of an environmentalist seeking the protective covering of the historical monument from the polluting gases and deforestation in and around the structure, the apex court had regulated the demolition of car parking being built near the Taj Mahal.The court stayed its order in November, it asked Taj Trapezium Zone authority to come up with a comprehensive action program to protect the Mughal mausoleum.Earlier, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) had oriented the state government to destroy illegal restaurants and to promote plantation adjacent to the historical monument.
