New Delhi [India], Sep 1 (NT): Indian athlete Jinson Johnson, Arpinder Singh, Muhammad Anas and Sudha Singh the gold and silver medalist in athletics event at the 18th edition of the Asian Games, landed in India on Friday.

Talking to media at Indira Gandhi International Airport all shared the joy to make the nation proud .Johnson revealed that he will be preparing for upcoming championships.

 In 800 m He won silver and gold in the 1500 m. According to him overall it's a very good result. Now He  will prepare for upcoming championships.

Arpinder Singh won a gold medal in men's triple jump at the Asian Games and expressed his happiness as saying he was sure about winning gold.He felt overwhelmed with the grand welcome on airport. He thanked the Sports Authority of India for their support.

Sudha Singh, the silver medal winner in women's 3000m steeplechase said that she has aimed for gold this time. She had won gold in 2010 and stood 4th in 2014.N ow she is focusing on the World Championship.

Muhammad Anas Silver medal winner in Men's 400m mixed 4x400m relay asserted that he will focus on upcoming championships. He felt proud to have won gold medal for India. He expressed thanks to those who supported him, his family and coach who are the reasons for his success.

India's total medal tally at the ongoing impressive sport carnival now stands at 63 including thirteen gold, 22 silver, and 28 bronze.
