Several biopics set to hit the Bollywood box-office, here comes the third biopic on an Indian cricketer and this time around it is none other than Kapil Dev. If reports are to be believed then, Ranveer Singh has been roped in to play the role of former Indian cricketer in a Kabir Khan directorial feature. The movie will reportedly be backed by Phantom films, co-owned by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena.

The film will focus on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup win under Dev's captainship when the Men in Blue defeated West Indies in the final to clinch their first-ever World Cup trophy.

 Sushant Singh Rajput seems to be approached to play The Great Khali in a film on the 7-feet-tall wrestler’s life, if reports are to be supposed. The wrestler, whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana, has allegedly given a go-ahead to the studio for making a film on his journey in the world of pro-wrestling and movies from being an officer for the Punjab state police in his early years. The report further adds that Sushant has been approached to play the ostensible role in the film.

Queen Fem Kangana Ranaut who has been making headlines due to her recent revelations on an interview about her personal life was spotted at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai today.

 

Kangana, whose recently released film 'Simran' was well treasured by the audience for her stellar performance, has started prepping up for her next which is based on Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi and she will be seen essaying the titular role. The actress was spotted taking horse-riding lessons from her trainer Suresh Tapuriah and she appeared to be getting pleasure from each moment of the art of horse riding. 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' which is being directed by Krish also stars Sonu Sood, Suresh Oberoi, Arjan Bajwa and television sensation Aankita Lokhaande. The film is planned to release in April next year.
