Justin Langer, the new coach of the Australia Cricket team, has put former captain Steve Smith in the dock in the Cape Town ball tempering controversy. Langer described Smith as a weak leader and said that he was not so strong that he could handle the situation. 

During a TV interview, Justin Langer said, "We did not like the opposition team for a while, because we actually used to play good and tough cricket. Our skill was fantastic because of which we won many matches." Langer further said, "If the opposition team is strong then it is easy to dislike it. In the last 12 months, on the field many times have been sneaky or abusive, I would say that the Australian team was playing such that spoiled children are playing. "   

During the Cape Town Test played in March Australia's three players Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft were found guilty of tampering the ball. A new Australian coach says that when he came to know about it, he was close to death as a former player.   

Questioning Smith's captaincy, Langer said that I think Steve Smith was a weak leader who was not strong enough to handle the situation. Although he praised Steve Smith as a player. He said that Steve Smith loves cricket. Smith is the most sincere among the players he has ever seen till date.   

With this, the new coach of the Australia team said that now the team will have to move forward because now that dispute cannot be further embarrassed. After being convicted in Ball Tempering, Cricket Australia has imposed a 9-year ban on Steve Smith and David Warner for one year and Cameron Broncrafts.
