We all across with a dilemma that what type of salt we should use in food? Salt is the only independent that can make or totally spoil your dish. It is made up of two electrolytes- chloride and sodium. And we all know that salt plays an important part of our meal and our body cannot function properly if we don't consume it.

Taking salt in a very large quantity it can also cause high blood pressure. There are different varieties of salt and choosing the right type of salt matters. From grilled vegetables to kebabs to french fries, salt tastes good on everything. Table salt or iodized salt is the most common type of salt used in home kitchens.

It is an industrial salt refined to about 99 percent sodium chloride and contains additives to prevent it from clumping together. It is most famous as it dissolves in food very easily. Himalayan pink salt is found in the Himalayas in Pakistan.It is much healthier than the regular salt because it contains less sodium.

Low-sodium salt

The key ingredient in this kind of salt is potassium. Regular salts are rich in sodium and hence, low sodium salts are helpful for those with blood pressure problems.

Kosher salt

Kosher salt originates from either the sea or the land and is named for its use in the Jewish meat preparations.

Himalayan pink salt

Himalayan pink salt is found in the Himalayas in Pakistan.It is much healthier than the regular salt because it contains less sodium.
