Cow, which is worshiped on the basis of Hindu beliefs, is currently playing an active role in politics. A new trend started with the aim of spreading awareness about the security of cows, a unique campaign has been called 'Selfie with Goumata'. 

An NGO named Gau Seva Parivar has started this campaign, which aims to provide awareness about cows as well as information about products from cows. The organization has launched an app in which people can participate in this contest by clicking selfies with the cow. 
 

Earlier this kind of Contest was organized in 2015. At that time people sent selfies through the Whatsapp group. This time the app has been launched by the institution to facilitate the participants.

If you are an Android user, download this app named Gou Service Family from Google Play Store and take part in the contest. 'Selfie with Goumata' Contest will run from October 16 to December 31. This Contest is divided into three categories mainly which includes Selfie, Selfie with Family and Selfie with Friends. Participants can send their selfies to any of these categories. 

The result of this contest will be released on January 21, 2018, in which all three categories will be included. Only the Indian breed or indigenous cows will be included in Selfie Contest.
