Like YouTube, Facebook is also launching its 'Watch' feature on its platform, in which pre-roll video ads are being planned before the show. 

According to a report published on Saturday, according to advertisers familiar with social network strategy, social media giants 'Watch' can test pre-roll video at the start of the show. Facebook has not responded to this plan right now. Facebook's chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, however, has long kept pre-roll advertising away from Facebook. 

Zuckerberg said in a meeting of investors in the beginning of this year, "We do not need a pre-roll because our model is not such that a user comes to watch a particular video on Facebook. Users see the feed here."

Facebook launched the 'Watch' feature on its platform in the month of August, in which mid-roll ads are shown in the middle of the show. Mid-roll advertising has received a good response from users. Facebook is also planning to bring a funded show on 'watch'.
