Hollywood actor 'Pierce Brosnan' was seen playing the role of James Bond on the screen, in the advertisement of an Indian bran 'Pan Masala'. Recently, Brosnan has accused Pan Masala Company of cheating on him. Actor cleared the Delhi Tobacco Control Cell in which he said that the company did not tell him about the damage done to Pan Masala.

Brosnan said in his response through his lawyer that "Pan Masala Company has fooled him, he did not know that intaking pan masala would harm the health. SK Arora, additional director of health department, told that, "Brosnan has written in his reply that Pan Masala Company cheated him, because the company did not disclose the loss of his product and other terms and conditions of advertising contract." Brosnan also wrote in his reply that the contract with the company has ended. At the same time, he also assured that he will not do anything like that in the future.

Let us tell you that, the Pan Masala Company also issued a show-cause notice to Brosnan. Brosnan also told the department that in the future, he will help the department against any such campaign and he will always be prepared for his support.

The official of the department has appealed to everyone not to be included in Tobacco's serogate ads in the name of pan masala, tea, cardamom, and other items from all celebrity. The official also said that it is punishable under sections 5 and 22 of all Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Production Act (COTTA).
