A Thug of Hindostan is much awaited Hindi cinema's Diwali offering to treat the fans. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. The movie is touted to be the biggest release of B- town has seen so far. Today the mega-action film's logo has been revealed along with the release date announcement.

ToH is slated to hit the silver screen on November 8, 2018. On that day means Thusday it is also a national holiday on the occasion of Diwali. The movie has been helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is produced by Aditya Chopra under Yashraj Films banner.

As per reports, the movie is set in the backdrop of India under the British rule in the 19th century. The film is inspired by Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug. The period action-adventure film revolves around the life of a thug and his gang .They challenge the British empire in the nation.
