Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif starrer Thugs of Hindostan released on Diwali 2018. It was touted to be a magnum opus, but instead, it failed to leave a lasting impression on the audience. The movies broke the records by collecting whopping 50 crores on opening Day but then it suffered a great drop in the collection. However, the film entered 100 crore club but still its very less when we talk about such big movies.

Since Yash Raj Films was the producer of the film, they distributed their own movie. However, the biggest sufferers due to failure of the movie were the exhibitors or the movie theatre operators. They suffered a great loss therefore they requested for repayment of money from Yash Raj Films. A commercial source revealed to Bollyinside that we also lost a similar amount on Tubelight, but actor Salman Khan paid us back the money. We expect to request a refund from distributors in our territory because we know that they have drawn significant amounts from this film because of the minimum guarantee contracts he further added that we hope that our message will reach Aamir Khan and YRF, who will help us get our money back from the territory's distributors.

Now after getting disaoopint by Aamir film, fans are eagerly waiting for the Shahrukh Khan's Zero which is slated to release on December 21.
