Trump calls for unity amid suspicious packages mailed on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton

Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], Oct 25 (NT): United States President Donald Trump damned the suspicious packages mailed to a number of US leaders including former President Barack Obama and called for unity as the matter is being probed.

Addressing an event at the White House, Trump said that he just want to tell all that in these times we have to unify. He added that we have to come together and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America.

The US President further said that "the full weight of our government" is  probing the matter and will "bring those responsible for these despicable acts to justice."

Trump  lauded that the security of the American people is his "highest and absolute priority."

US First Lady Melania Trump also talked about the issue and termed the act as "cowardly." She asserted that we cannot tolerate those cowardly attacks. She added that she strongly condemned all who choose violence.

Worth mention here Packages containing suspicious devices were mailed to a number of leaders including former President Barack Obama and former First lady Hillary Clinton. Apart from this One of the packages was also found at the Time Warner Center, outside CNN office.
