The rich and lingering taste of butter along with the spice factor, added by cumin, is a flavourful explosion in your mouth and leaves you asking for more. Ingredients of Jeera Biscuit

2 tablespoon cumin seeds

3 cup flour

salt as required

1 cup butter

2 tablespoon milk

4 tablespoon caster sugar

How to make Jeera Biscuit

Step 1

Take a large bowl and combine butter with castor sugar. Whisk them together until the mixture becomes fluffy and creamy. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Now add flour and cumin seeds in a deep bowl. Sprinkle salt and mix the ingredients well. Then, add this mixture in the butter-sugar mixture and add milk. Knead the mixture for a stiff dough.

Step 3

Preheat the oven at 360 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, use a rolling pin to roll out a thick sheet of dough in a rectangle shape. Place this sheet on a glazed baking tray and use a cookie cutter to cut out small circles of the dough.

Step 4

Place the baking tray in oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the biscuits turn golden brown in colour. Remove from oven, store in an air-tight container and serve when required.
