The Tulip Festival is a must-attend event for the flower aficionado, and nature lovers in Kashmir. Hilly state celebrates the blossoming season of the glorious Tulips. Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is well-known for adding the natural beauty of Srinagar and attracts tulip lovers.

Apart from the beauty of Tulip Garden, there are several Places to visit in so-called hilly-heaven-state.

Chashme Shahi Garden – This garden is the centre of tourist-attraction for boarding a natural spring that flows from it.

Pari Mahal –the wonderful Chashm-E-Shahi Gardens is the historic monument which was once a Buddhist Monastery.

Shankaracharya Temple – This age-old temple is situated at a height of 1100 feet fully Soak in the beauty of snow-cladded Pin Panjal Range

 

Dal Lake – Dal Lake is actually the seventh heaven on Earth. The attractiveness of this awe-inspiring lake is away from the description. A Shikara Ride is a must-attempt adventure here.

Nishat Gardens – Situated at a distance of 3.2 km from Tulip Garden, Nishat Bagh is a habitat to Long Boulevard of Cypress and Chinar trees, where you can find rare flowers and fountains.

Mughal Gardens –The outstanding -joining of Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashm-E-Shahi, this garden draws the attention of the crowd for its awesome cascading fountains.

Shalimar Bagh – This is another well-fascinating garden which was constructed by Jahangir, a Mughal emperor.  This park pays respect to the terrific craftsmanship of the Mughals-Era in terms of horticulture here.
