The Twitter war between Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) chairman R.S. Sharma and the French security research, Elliot Alderson took a new move when the official authority of Aadhar card, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) rejected the claims which were reported by the French security researcher that he fetched the personal figures of TRAI chief via the 12 digit Aadhar number that Sharma released amid the hurled challenges.

On Sunday, UIDAI stated that Ram Sewak Sharma is a public servant from a long time and it is obvious that all of his details that were claimed to be fetched by the12 digit base number are already available on the Google, other sites and any public domain.

The clarification came in the attempt to dismiss the claims that were made by the French Security Researcher, Elliot Anderson where he in the series of Tweets, he released many figures of Sharma's personal life through his 12 digit base number, which included Sharma's personal address, birthdate, alternate phone number etc. While releasing these figures, he told Sharma that there could be a danger of making the Aadhaar number public. Alderson wrote, "Aadhaar numbers are unsafe, people can know a lot from your personal address, alternate phone number.”

Notably, Sharma by himself issued his 12 digit base number while challenging that if there is any danger related to security, then someone leaked my figures and their figures leaked only after a few hours of their challenge. Sharma whose tenure as chairman to end on 9th August from the very start is a great supported of Aadhar card and have many times denied the news that there is any threat to the violation of Individual’s personal information through the identity proof.
