Due to the leak of data leaks, the legendary social media company, Facebook is not getting a breath of relief. Now the UK and Australia are preparing to impose fines on Facebook. Earlier, the US and European Union had summoned Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and asked serious questions. UK's data regulator said that in the crime of not securing the users' data, they will impose a fine of six million 60 thousand dollars on Facebook. The British Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) was investigating against Facebook since its inception in its investigation this year.

In the investigation, the UK's 2016 European Union referendum revealed the use of personal information of users in the campaign in both ways. Australia is also preparing to impose heavy fines for sharing personal information of more than three million users with a British political consultancy. Based on the complaint, the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIO) had started an investigation in April.

Action will be taken on the results of this investigation. The UK and Australia's data regulators issued a report saying that they are preparing to impose a maximum fine on Facebook against the violation of the Data Protection Act.

Facebook has already agreed that data collected by the British consultancy company Cambridge Analyte has leaked data of 8.7 million users. Cambridge Antoitica was working for the campaign of the current President Donald Trump in the US election in 2016. However, Cambridge Analitica has rejected these allegations and has filed petitions for voluntary bankruptcy in the US and UK.
