The first batch of 820 Hajis from Jammu and Kashmir will leave for Saudi Arabia on Saturday. Hami, who was riding in special buses from Haj House of Srinagar in Bamina, left for Srinagar International Airport on Saturday. On this occasion, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi met with the Jatha of the Hajis. On the other hand, the administration says that four flights of Air India will take them to Saudi Arabia. The last flight of the Hajis will be on July 25.

All India Haj Committee has reserved 250 seats for Jammu and Kashmir. More than 10,000 Hajjs from Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabia can go to Hajj this year. The first flight service to Saudi Arabia carrying the Hajj will return on August 25 and the last seven of September.

The Muslim women of India have been permitted to take a trip for Haj devoid of a 'Mehram', or a male protector, Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi confirmed from his twitter handle, on Monday. A bilateral contract was signed in association with Haj 2018 throughout the get-together between Naqvi and Saudi Arabia's Haj and Umrah Minister Dr. Muhammad Benten. Naqvi  from his twitter handle shared pics of meetings and message that read

"For the first time, Muslim women from India will go to Haj without 'Mehram' (male companion). Separate accommodation and transport have been arranged for these women. Women 'Haj Assistant' will be deployed for their assistance," Naqvi tweeted.
