UP Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar has issued directives for obedience with the Protocol of People's Representatives. It is said in this directive that if the MPs or MLAs come to meet, the officer will stand up and greet them and stand by the farewell.

Let the legislators and MPs complain about it to CM Yogi Adityanath. After this, Rajiv Kumar asked all the officers to value and perform their functions on first priority.

In the instructions issued by the Chief Secretary, it has been said that the officers should not be the chief guest in the events organized by government money. The Chief Secretary has said that the Government has come to the notice that in spite of continuous guidelines being issued, general etiquette, protocols are not being followed properly for MPs and members of the governing body.

It has been said that if he cannot accept the suggestion of the Honorable, then politely tell him what the problem is. If he comes to meet the officials for the work related to the public interest then give him full respect. Stand up from the seat and welcome them. Answer the letters of the believers and listen to the phone. Disciplinary action will be taken even after this instruction if received a complaint of courteousness.
