The Maximum number of crime cases recorded in 2016, recent list of data released by the National Crime Record Bureau(NCRB).The major likes Kidnapping, Rape, and Theft are raised by 2.6 percent across the India.Uttar Pradesh and Delhi are above on the list.The National Crime Record Bureau(NCRB) reports says that Uttar Pradesh having the supreme numbers of the crime occurred in the UP state last year and Delhi recorded the highest crime rate in the country.

A Reports of the several states shows that Uttar Pradesh accounted for 9.5 5 of total Indian Penal Code (IPC) crimes according in the country pursue by Madhya Pradesh(MP) 8.9 %, Maharashtra 8.8 % and Kerala 8.7 %, while Delhi reported the uppermost in crime rate or incidents on per 1lakh persons at 974.9 pursue by Kerala at 727.6% and Madhya Pradesh at 337.9 against the national average of 233.6.

These data were disclosed by NCRB's  an annual publication "Crime in India 2016" which was open by BJP Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Not only Delhi Uttar Pradesh (UP) shows the supreme rate of crimes on the female with 14.5 %(49,262 cases) of the total cases.Nationa Capital reported 33 % (13,803 cases of the total 41,761 cases in 19 cities having a population more than two million) of total crimes on females and was followed by Mumbai at 12.3 % (5,128 cases).Overlook at rape cases shows an increase of 12.4 % from 34,651 cases in the country in 2015 to 38,947 in the year 2016.MP and UP reported the highest incidence of rape with 4,882 cases (12.5 %) and 4,816 (12.4% followed by Maharashtra 4,189 (10.7%) last year, according to the NCRB data.Delhi recorded the highest crime rate of 182.1comparsising to the national average of 77.2 and reported the highest number of murders - 479 out of 2,194 cases (21.8 %), followed by Bengaluru 10.4 % (229 cases) and Patna 8.9 % 195 cases.
