US Prez Trump to Give Saudis a Pass Even if Crown Prince Got involved in Jamal Khashoggi Killing

Washington: President Donald Trump pledged on Tuesday to stick by supporter Saudi Arabia even while admitting that de facto leader Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman may have been behind the evil murder of a protester journalist Khashoggi.

"It could very well be that the crown prince had knowledge of this tragic event — maybe he did and maybe he didn't!" Trump stated in a statement.

"We may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," he said. "The United States has it in mind to remain a persistent associate."

The horrific murder of Khashoggi has massively embarrassed  the whole Washington. Khashoggi vanished after being lured into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2,

The killing attack on a PR campaign led by the crown prince to show that the conservative Islamic state has kick started a new reformist path.

The incident also threw into question the White House plan to make MBS, as the royal is extensively known, its main associate in the tinderbox area.

Trump has for weeks refused to accept mounting proof of Saudi government alleged involvement in the Khashoggi killing and accusations that MBS ordered the attack.
