The US Senate voted against President Donald Trump's administration and voted in favour of a ban on China's telecommunications company ZTE again. The Trump Administration had decided to relax the Chinese company for a penalty of $ 1.4 billion instead of sanctions.

The senators made provisions while targeting ZTE in the national defence spending bill. It was necessary to pass this bill. In favour of this, 85 votes and 10 votes in the opposition.  The United States had said that it has banned ZTE for selling seven years of significant hardware and software components on American companies. Since then the company was on the life support system.

US officials have imposed this restriction because they say that the company had misinformed the illegal sale of goods to Iran and North Korea. In March last year, ZTE was found guilty of the charges and was fined $ 1.2 billion.

Recently, the United States announced that they will withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council. US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said that no nation has shown the courage to join our campaign of reform in the United States, so the United States is declaring it to leave it without any further discussion.
