Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], Jan 15 (NT): As the pronouncement of the Union Budget 2018 is just around the corner, Indian women expects tax relief in women hygiene essentials as well as more funds to be allocated for the women safety and security along with job opportunities.

Keeping in view the extensive increase in the number of crime in opposition to women, it is important for the government to become more perceptive towards women fortification.

In the previous budget, Modi-led-government declared the Nirbhaya funds for the safety of the women, but still the situation remains unaffected. This happened maybe because the funds were not properly employing or due to lack of proper setting up and it is expected that the government to allocate more funds this time in the upcoming budget.

As 1000- sanity napkins campaign kicks off in Gwalior ( with written messages to be sent to PM Modi for removing GST imposed on sanitary pads) So The government is expected to promote cleanliness and women hygiene that tax levied on sanitary pads should be aloof.

In the view of Women empowerment Indian woman expects some tax rebate and increase in the number of job opportunities for women in all the untouched sectors. (NT)
