Uttar Pradesh CM donates Rs.5 Cr to cyclone victims of ockhi

UP C M Yogi Adityanath today donated Rs 5 crores from the Chief Minister suffering Relief Fund to Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the Cyclone Ockhi exaggerated public in Lakshadweep and of the other states.UP CM Yogi Adityanath handed over a cheque of 5 Crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in New Delhi.

Yesterday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also send Rs two crores from the CM Fund to Prime Minister Fund for the victims, while Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh offered to send 100 metric tonnes of rice for the cyclone exaggerated people.Nirmala Sitharaman Defence Minister also met the fishermen families exaggerated by Cyclone Ockhi at Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram and guaranteed them that the search and rescue operation is being conducted with full force.

Nirmala Sitharaman Defence Minister informed that, So Early 357 fishermen, including 71 from Tamil Nadu, who had been stranded in the sea due to Cyclone Ockhi, have been rescued.On November 2, the Tamil Nadu authorities stated that the total number of deaths caused due to the cyclone has raised by 19.The lethal cyclone, which has claimed many lives, lashed the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala on Saturday with heavy rainfall and really blowing winds.
