New Delhi: Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu is going to meet floor leaders of the House at 5.30 pm today to share his concern about the dysfunctional House, a day ahead of the monsoon session 2018, Sources of ANI claimed.

Meanwhile, Congress's Anand Sharma and Ghulam Nabi Azad, BJP's Ananth Kumar & Vijay Goel and NCP's Sharad Pawar arrived for an all-party meeting ahead of the monsoon session of the parliament.

 As all parties set for the Monsoon Session of Parliament which will commence tomorrow on July 18, The speaker of Lok Sabha, Sumitra Mahajan today will hold discussions over a dinner talks of political parties on Tuesday night. Various political leaders will take part in the discussions.

According to the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Mahajan will brief the party leaders about the smooth functioning of the session. She will also seek Lawmakers support in ensuring the passage of a number of pending bills in the Parliament.

Worth mention here reports claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not participate in the meeting. But he will expect to attend the dinner hosted by the speaker. The meeting will be carried out in the Parliament Library Building. Sources also informed that this meeting will hold before another meeting between the opposition parties and the government.

In another meeting, the opposition parties will get together to talk about joint strategies to combat the government in the Monsoon Session.

various matters which will discuss  such as

1 Mob lynching.

2 Atrocities on Dalits.

3 Farmer's grievances and security of women.

As per a report by PTI the leaders from Congress and other opposition parties will meet in the office of the Ghulam Nabi Azad in Parliament House on Tuesday evening. The peak agenda of the speaker's dinner meeting will be to finalize a joint applicant to Rajya Sabha deputy chairman's post. This post has been unoccupied since the end of the term of P J Kurien from the Congress on July 1.
