DUMRAON/PATNA: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Friday issued order to investigate into an episode of stone-pelting on his procession in Buxar district.

The chief minister Nitish Kumar was present in Nandan panchayat which is said to be Yadav-dominated for launching development plans when a group of people standing near a mound of bricks outside a bamboo plantation pelted stones on his procession.

Mentioning the incident in his speech at a public meeting held in Nandan, CM Nitish hinted that whole incident was plotted by certain personal reason especially an expectation of financial or other gains

"Some people are hunting the politics of aggravation and instigation against me, as my government's program intended at the state's development were hurting their self-centered interests," Bihar CM said.

CM Kumar inaugurated and took part in the groundbreaking ceremony of schemes worth Rs 168 crores at Nandan panchayat in Buxar district and another 63 schemes worth Rs 228 crore at Ahinaura village in Kamur district on Friday.

The chief minister was at Nandan and Ahinaura in the wake of his state-wide Vikas Sameeksha Yatra.

"I am not the one who runs the government sitting in the state capital... I like better to personally review the ground realities and ensure that the basic facilities like roads, clean water and power reach every village and locality,"  CM Nitish said in his Vikas Sameeksha Yatra .
