It has been claimed by some residents of Uttar Pradesh's Manpur Nagaria village in Kasganj district that they have spotted an unidentified flying object (UFO) on Wednesday.

As per the youth, "the UFP was spotted after it stopped raining in the village. One of them claimed to have captured the ‘UFO’ on his cellphone."

Via instant Messaging app WhatsApp, the photos were then shared. After that they soon went viral on all social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.

District Magistrate K Vijendra Pandyan sent the pictures to the MeT department for investigation.

According to sources, the person who clicked the pictures is unavailable and his cellphone is switched off.
