BCCI declare the India team for the three-match ODI series against SriLanka. Current Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been rested for the upcoming ODI series. In the absence of Virat, Rohit Sharma would be in charge of the team. Rohit Sharma will be the 24th Captain for team India other than that, there was no major change in the ODI team.

 

India has been playing a lot of cricket lately, and it would be great for Kohli to get some break and relax before the tour of South Africa. After magnificent performance against Sri Lanka, men in blue register a huge victory and Skipper Virat Kohli captain innings of 213 runs which is impressive and now Rohit Sharma the another centurion from the last game will the captain in the limited format game.

 

Meaning earlier today, India beat Sri Lanka in the second test match at Nagpur. Kohli was once again the Man of the match for his knock of 213. Ashwin also completed his 300 test wickets, fastest to do so, in just 54 matches. Sri Lanka in their second innings got all out for 166 runs. India won the match by a huge margin, an inning and 239 runs.
