New Delhi [India], Feb 5: Young spin machine Yuzvendra Chahal's shine with the five-wicket haul sinks the visitors South Africa as India win 2nd ODI by 9 Wickets, Take 2-0 Lead in The Series. But before it happen a very bizarre incident occurred between India vs South Africa 2nd ODI was stopped for lunch even when India needed just 2 runs from 31 overs to win the game. This weird decision of umpires caused the delay in the result by forty minutes. Both the on-field umpires veteran Aleem Dar and Adrian Holdstock decided to call for lunch as per ICC’s ‘rigid’ playing condition rules, leaving everyone in shock as the umpires did not stay for another over, that would have certainly resulted in an Indian victory. Even, both the oncrease batsmen, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and opener Shikhar Dhawan (51) were left bewildered by the decision and walked back to pavilion.

Following the incident, Twitterati, including some former cricketers, reacted to delay. Former India batsman Virender Sehwag was at his witty best as he mocked the umpires’ decision and tweeted, “Umpires treating Indian batsmen like PSU Bank treat customers. Lunch ke baad aana.”

Meanwhile, India, who bowled out South Africa for a meagre 118, won the match comfortably by nine wickets. It was Yuzvendra Chahal’s maiden five-wicket haul which demolished the Proteas’ batting. However, while chasing the modest target, India lost Rohit Sharma (15) early on, but then Dhawan and Kohli added a match-winning partnership of 93 runs. Both the batsmen remained unbeaten and scored 51 and 46 respectively. The visitors now lead the series 2-0
