The highly private function kept not just paparazzi and media away, but even fans hanging ever since reports began doing rounds about their coming wedding last week. But the way these two finally broke the news to the world made everyone's day.

-Here is yet another Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma tie- the -knot with an Indian cricketer Virat Kholi. 

-Anushka and Virat officially broke the news on their social media site Twitter handle with the same text. They penned,"Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey." 

-Virat has been very clear when it comes to talking about his “lady luck”. He hasn’t shrunk to acknowledge that she has been a strong presence in his life.

-While Anushka took time off the shooting of her flick Pari and her upcoming Sui Dhaga, Virat is on a break from the upcoming series in Sri Lanka. 

-The highly private ceremony was only attended by around 40 people according to the reports. 

-There were also reports that the two had broken up but their many sightings together defied these reports.
