With the help of Jio, the low-cost mobile internet provider Reliance Industries is now bringing out Jio Giga fibre. It will be equipped with Fiber to the Home Broadband i.e. FTTH Technology.

The company claims that with its help consumers will get 1Gbps speed at home and office. Before all these claims, let's tell you what FTHH technology is and how does it work. After its arrival, the picture of broadband in India will change completely.

What is the complete technique?
FTTH is a technique for delivering faster and better communication signals from the optical fibre to your home and office. It works much better than the currently used copper infrastructure ie telephone wire or coaxial cable.

This technology is being used fast for video, internet and voice service in the world. The reason behind joining the cable directly into FTTH technology is to give consumers a lot of improvement in bandwidth. DSL and cable modem usually gives download speeds of 5 megabytes per second, and in the case of the load, it gets even lesser.

However, through FTHH you can get the two-speed transmission speed of 100 megabytes per second. Cable and DSL providers were using technology and devices to increase a little speed on one side. On the other hand, speed can be increased through fibre optic devices without making any changes.
