Moga : A woman constable was avowedly physically abused on Tuesday today by three youths when she was on her way to work, the information given by the police officials.

According to the complaint filed by the women constable, “three motorcycle-borne youths blocked her on her way to Kanian in the district and passed lewd remarks and molested her.

Police further added, “The accused, all in their twenties, also threatened her of dire consequences”.

Among three, two of the youths has been recognized as Manjinder Singh and Jagjit Singh. Meanwehile,the identity of the third youth is yet to be not know.

Police said, “a case has been registered in this regard and efforts are on to apprehend them.”
