In  Rajasthan's Sikar district a married woman who had eloped with another man last year was allegedly strangulated to death by her father, as per stated by police.

The police as per the sources news said 'Chaina Kanwar, aged around 25 years, was married to Devendra Singh of Didwana locality in Nagaur district in April 2016 but eloped with her lover after five-six months'

"She was living with the paramour for the last few months at an undisclosed place. She was spotted by her father Bhanwar Singh at Ranauli bus stand on Wednesday. He took her to their old deserted house in Samer village where he strangulated her to death," Additional SP Tejraj Singh said.
